Your second-last instalment in the saga is being served just the way you like it : drab to the eye, bland on the palate, and room-temperature at all times, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Non-Twilight fans, you should know what to do by now. Be rest assured the series hasn’t suddenly got good when you weren’t looking.

So, what is the go with Breaking Dawn Part 1?

Well, like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the Twilight producers have carved the franchise finale in two.

Mainly so they can double-dip into the purses of Twilight’s massive, predominantly tween-age fanbase.

No real crime in that.

The reel crime is how little is allowed happen in such a long running time.

Proceedings get off to a promising, almost deceptively pacy start.

(Girls, don’t show up late. Taylor Lautner’s hunky werewolf Jacob is only seriously taking his shirt off just the once. This momentous event occurs inside the first minute. You have been warned.)

The opening act is quite rightly given over to the wedding everyone who ever bought a book by Stephenie Meyer has been waiting for.

The mortally foxy Bella (Kristin Stewart) and the immortally vampiric pin-up Edward (Robert Pattinson finally tie the knot. Which means, umm, they’re finally free to kiss (and stuff) all they want. We used to have to wait an entire movie for that.

Then comes a short honeymoon in Brazil during which Bella falls pregnant, like, immediately. Then Edward, worried that breeding a bloodsucker may be too much for his human bride, quickly hauls her back to the House of Cullen in the woods.

And then, nothing.

Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 locks into a miserable storytelling loop for well over an hour. While Bella wastes away to a near-death state awaiting the birth, Edward and Jacob bicker, buddy-up and bicker some more.

The cliffhanger ending, when it finally does lumber into view, is fairly out-there material by Twilight standards.

Rabid readers of the Twilight books already know all about Bella’s unusually problematic delivery of her first-born.

Let me assure any newbie Twi-hards out there, such a sight is not for the faint-hearted.

The series-closing Part 2 will be here this time next year. Only 364 sleeps to go, then.

USA Today has the first-ever glimpse of The Lorax, which is being made by the same people who made Horton Hears a Who.

According to the article, The Lorax will be voiced by Danny DeVito and the evil Once-ler will be voiced by Ed Helms (The Hangover.) And a new baddie will be played by Rob Riggle (whose character, O'Hare, is a fresh air salesman). Also lending their voices to this film are Zac Efron, who will play the little boy in the beginning of the tale named Ted, and Betty White, who is taking on the part of his grandmother

Story: Put simply, "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" is not that different from its predecessor. The basic premise for example actually uses the same exact sequence of events from start-to-finish (boy discovers a coded message, boy thinks it might be from a long lost relative and decides to go to the "fictional" place on which a legal guardian assists him, they find what they look for but soon find peril and they must escape or else). But here's the thing, "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" does something that sequels rarely do and that is being better than its predecessor. Minus the "déjà vu-ish" story, everything else is bigger, faster, badder and funnier than the first one.

Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson) is caught by police escaping from a satellite research center. Luckily, his stepfather, Hank Parsons (Dwayne Johnson), saves him from going to jail. The next day, Sean reveals that he needed the satellite to receive a faint broadcast that contained a message with a bunch of indistinguishable words. Hank is able to solve the code which reveals the coordinates for a certain "Mysterious Island". Sean believes that his long lost grandfather was the one behind the transmission and that he has discovered the island. Sean and Hank set out for the island of Palau as the coordinates is nearest that location. In Palau, they board a private helicopter run by Gabato (Luis Guzman) and his daughter Kailani (Vanessa Hudgens). The four travel to the location but their helicopter is hit by a storm causing them to crash on the island. Eventually, the group meets Sean's grandfather (Michael Caine) but soon discover that they have a couple of days left before the island sinks into the bottom of the sea.

If there's one thing that "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" does best is its non-stop pace. The film starts off in an instant - after the first five minutes or so, the adventure starts already and does not end until the credits roll. There's really no time to think and that is it's best asset as this is a film that really crosses the line from what's impossible and what's feasible. It's not about all about the action though and we have to say that the humor is another thing that defines this film's success. The tandem of Dwayne Johnson and Luis Guzman (with non-stop one-liners that are actually funny) perfectly caps off the feel-good aura this film exudes. To sum it all up, there's never a dull moment as the action, the humor or the combination of both is just a non-stop barrage from start-to-finish. On the acting department, everyone did a pretty swell job. The biggest surprise is Dwayne Johnson who does not only proves he is better than Brendan Frasier but he also does more than just act. As expected, the film was stunningly jaw-dropping especially in 3D. The first one did a good job but this one just blows that one away. There's really no reason not to love "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island". While its predecessor might have been too kiddie for some adults, the second foray is actually more mature and more attuned to adults. On top of that, this is a film that improved on the points that made the first film a hit and more.

We need to establish something. We, here at Movie Reviews, are movie fans. Big fans. We love movies, big, little, new, old. Movies? We’re very much pro them.

It felt necessary to make that clear before we post this new trailer for insipid, mawkish, unoriginal romantic drama The Vow, starring Channing “abs” Tatum and Rachel “She’s so much better than this” McAdams.

McAdams stars as a woman who wakes up from a coma with amnesia, and Channing Tatum as the husband who has to make her fall in love with him all over again. Really, that's the plot they've gone for.

Now, the last thing we want to do is come across sneery and snarky, but this doesn't look good, even if you can stomach sentiment by the bucketload.The plot arrives courtesy of that Regarding Margie episode of The Simpsons and countless dodgy daytime soaps. McAdams, for one, deserves better, and if she doesn't start turning down nonsense like this two words will haunt her career: Katherine, and Heigl.

Story: The superhero movie has had countless reboots and reinventions over the years, transitioning from light to campy to dark and then back again. The genre has been deconstructed by M. Night Shyamalan and turned into an art-form by Christopher Nolan, while in recent years it has become a staple of the summer movie season, with comic book adaptations dominating the multiplexes. But it's never been given the found footage treatment - until now that is.

Chronicle tells the story of three average kids whose investigation of a mysterious hole in the ground results in their gaining superpowers. It starts off with telekinesis, the guys levitating potato chips, Lego, baseballs and cuddly toys, and doing what any average teenage boy would do - using it to see up girls' skirts.

But as they hone their skills, so their powers increase, the trio developing the ability to destroy cars and buildings, and even learning how to fly. But - as we're regularly told - with great power comes great responsibility, and so the talented triumvirate introduce rules by which to live, including not using their powers in public, not talking about them, and most importantly, not using them on another human being.

Teenagers being teenagers however, and possessing all the angst and anger that goes with the territory, the heroic honeymoon period doesn't last long. Cracks quickly start to appear in their friendship, the rules are soon smashed to smithereens and the actions of one of their number turn increasingly dark and dangerous, with truly devastating consequences.

It's a story that's been told countless times, most recently in X-Men: First Class, but director Josh Trank has given the story his own original and utterly compelling spin. The script - which was written by Max Landis - is both smart and sophisticated, and features countless clever twists and turns.

Their story ingeniously toys with audience sympathies, blurring the line between protagonist and antagonist, and building up to a genuinely gripping finale that manages to be both visually and emotionally satisfying.

Trank fares less well with the found footage aspect of the film however, Chronicle suffering from the same problems that dog all efforts of its ilk; namely that the characters constantly - and often clumsily - have to explain why they are filming events rather than just living them.

It does create an interesting psychological barrier between our heroes and the world around them, but too often you are left wondering why they continue to shoot proceedings when downing tools and helping a friend in need would seem like a more natural course of action.

However, they do cleverly circumnavigate the problem in Chronicle's gripping second half, with one of the characters learning to levitate the camera, enabling him to effectively direct his own life, and thereby the film's final few scenes.

The shaky-cam concept also requires the cast to truly sell the conceit or risk it turning into a series of loosely linked YouTube clips. Mercifully, Chronicle succeeds on all acting fronts, most notably through a trio of star-making performances at its heart.

Michael B. Jordan is charisma personified as Steve, the smart, successful class president candidate whose life is further charmed by the arrival of the powers.

Alex Russell is likeably charming as Matt, a clumsy, philosophy-spouting pseudo-intellectual with a good heart and a wicked sense of humour.

And Dane DeHaan - who looks disconcertingly like a young Leonardo DiCaprio - is a revelation as Andrew, a troubled kid with a tough home-life, for whom the powers offer fleeting happiness and popularity before opening a door to something more sinister.

Their naturalistic performances - complemented by the consistently sharp script - mean that not only do you believe what they are going through, but you also really root for these guys, making Chronicle a film about friendship as much as it is about superpowers.

The result is a superhero movie that works on several levels, and one that really nails the 'gaining superpowers' concept. These kids aren't searching for truth or justice, they're just trying to get laid, and the film's early scenes are a thrilling celebration of self-discovery, no more so than when the guys first realise they can fly.

But acquiring super-powers doesn't necessarily mean you also develop a sound moral compass, and as the humour and joy slowly drains out of Chronicle, the film turns into a thought-provoking examination of the psychological problems that come with effectively becoming God.

So not only does Chronicle succeed in giving the superhero movie a found footage spin, but it also manages to bring something new to the sub-genre, resulting in a film that goes deeper than the average comic book adaptation, and heralds the arrival of genuinely exciting moviemaking talent in the shape of Josh Trank.

Watch One for the Money Online Free With Streaming Quality

Story: Desperate for some fast cash, Stephanie (Heigl) turns to her last resort: convincing her sleazy cousin to give her a job at his bail bonding company…as a recovery agent. True, she doesn’t even own a pair of handcuffs and her weapon of choice is pepper spray, but that doesn’t stop Stephanie from taking on Vinny’s biggest bail-jumper: former vice cop and murder suspect Joe Morelli (Jason O’Mara) – yup, the same sexy, irresistible Joe Morelli who seduced and dumped her back in high school.

Nabbing Morelli would be satisfying payback – and a hefty payday – but as Stephanie learns the ins and outs of becoming a recovery agent from Ranger (Daniel Sunjata), a hunky colleague who’s the best in the business, she also realizes the case against Morelli isn’t airtight. Add to the mix her meddling family, a potentially homicidal boxer, witnesses who keep dying and the problem of all those flying sparks when she finds Morelli himself…well, suddenly Stephanie’s new job isn’t nearly as easy as she thought.

Author Janet Evanovich’s popular “born-and-bred Jersey girl [with] plenty of attitude,” Stephanie Plum, was reportedly inspired in part by Robert De Niro’s hard-living bounty hunter character from Midnight Run. So, based on that description, one might envision an actress like, say, Marisa Tomei being recruited to play the heroine in the new adaptation of Evanovich’s Plum novel, One for the Money, right?

Instead, Lionsgate went with Katherine Heigl for the part of Miss Plum - and judging by the One for the Money trailer, this film isn’t going to win over anyone who wasn’t already a fan of the former Grey’s Anatomy startlet.

One for the Money looks to be an action-rom-com in the vein of the Heigl-starring Killers. It was directed by Julie Anne Robinson (The Last Song) and co-scripted by writers such as Kirsten Smith (The Ugly Truth) and Liz Brixius (Nurse Jackie). Based on that collective filmography, you probably already have an inkling of what sort of comical tone the Evanovich adaptation is going for.

Give Heigl credit… she only drops her (thankfully) underplayed Jersey accent a handful of times in this One for the Money trailer. Faint praise, we know.

On a kinder note: it is actually kind of refreshing to see the actress playing a character besides the beautiful, but undeniably uptight career-driven gal type (see: every other Heigl role). O’Mara (Terra Nova, Life on Mars) and Sunjata (Rescue Me, Grey’s Anatomy) both look to be having a bit of fun as Heigl’s respective bad guy/good guy love interests in One for the Money - though it’s almost shocking to see Debbie Reynolds playing the “wacky” elderly matriarch here. Those parts are generally reserved for Betty White nowadays, right? Moving on…

Whether or not One for the Money will be as broad a mix of “hip” comedy and action as is indicated in this early theatrical preview - that remains to be seen. However, if a film that includes “quirky” hookers, nudist senile old men, grandmas shooting turkeys, and more than its fair share of rom-com clichés - mixed with the occasional action set piece - doesn’t sound like your thing… well, you probably weren’t even remotely interested in this movie to begin with.
